Former parking lot turned into a terrace

The terrace took the place of the parking lot that served the Genessis building and this project’s challenge was to bring life and greenery into a closed space between three exterior walls.

To make the space more dynamic and to solve the problem of the heavy and claustrophobic atmosphere, the terrace was developed on two levels: a ground floor and a split-level.

The split-level is located in the back of the terrace, closing and making the perspective we have access to from the street more dynamic. This created a shape that draws the viewer’s attention to the inside of the terrace.
